Try going to Options > Media Card > Menu > Format Card

You may need to format the card before you get support for it so the BB can read it and add the media folders.

I personally have not seen a zip file for telenav. All I have seen is OTA. Bookmark the .jad file and download when you have a good signal. You will need a good signal if using it anyways.
