For BES you need an Enterprise dataplan on the SIM card.

I would expect the standby mode, like on Pearl, 8800, Curve, Bold, when pressing the Mute button for 2 seconds..
But there is no Standby mode on the Storm.

I am really ANGRY about this...:x

The important part is only: SIM card needs to be able to connect to a BES.

Maybe your simcard works only with the VDF BIS?...
