Redirector only works with Exchange Server Email. At least, that's what I was told by BB tech :-) so if someone knows differently, please let me know!

7290 is definitely the better device.
Twice as much memory (32 MB), Bluetooth, two stage backlight so you can actually see the screen in dusk, and yes, the processor is faster.

you can use Outlook express. There is a list of programs you can use. Go into Intellisync, Configure PIM, click on address book, and it will pull up a list.

This is odd. I have my password disabled, I clicked on security timeout at 20 minutes, and every 20 minutes it locks my device, until I click on the unlock. I'm not sure why it won't work on yours.

Screen Saver is only available on 3.8/4.0 with the "brick" BlackBerry's. It is not an option on any of the 7100 Series. If you look at a 7290, you would see that option.

From what I've heard, there's no speakerphone. And the Bluetooth that it has available, is only for Car Kits and Headsets. No File Transfers.
