Maybe MAC has driver for USB 8700g

The person I spoke to today told me there was experience using USB connected 8700g with an OSX Mac to allow the Mac internet access. I'm waiting to see. All I got for now.

Took me about 5 days to find a store which actually had 8700g IN STOCK. Was 10 days ago. Price OKAY. Service (on the radio) once 8700 replaced 7105t was nearly as good as with Cing/ATT in Oxnard...
