Playbook charging

Currently my mom is using my Playbook. When she charges it at night. It only charges to about 60%. When she uses it during the day it lasts for several hours on the internet and reading/sending mail....

So I found my old 9700 (I now have a 9900) and plugged it into my PC and fired up Desktop Manager 7.1. It is now telling me that it needs an upgrade to OS 6.0 Bundle 2921 v6.0.0.666 Platform...

Why can't RIM make a decent battery? My wife's 9700 which is 2 1/2 years old lasts for almost 3 days and my 9900 lasts for less than 10 hours. I have turned everything down and keep checking for open...

Installed 342 yesterday and charged my 9900 last night for 11 hours. Unplugged it this morning and after 7 hours I am down to 51%.

Downloaded and installed. Battery lasts longer. Like the hotshot feature. Only beef was that I lost my custom ring and alert profiles. Spent an hour trying to set them up again.

Wiping and starting over is a pain. There should be a 6.0.2 BBM upgrade to fix this since there are so many people complaining about it. ie Astrasync and Google Calendar Sync users.

I have a notification saying I have one unread email. I checked every email address and there are no unread emails. I have done the Mark Prior Read for each address with no avail.
