That's what I do, but it doesn't allow you to pick an arbitrary point in time - it moves in increments of 3 minutes. That's not so bad, but sometiimes 3 minutes is longer than the commercial breaks...

The current skip seems to be dependent on the length of the program being viewed...

The policy will only revert back if the corporate BES is sent out wirelessly or if you accidently sync the machine on a corporate n/w with BES (like I did)
