I do not know atm, I will have to ask him. I did take a good look at the main board while I had it apart and can see no signs of other abuse such as moisture. Chances are he dropped it...

Unsolvable white screen
Hi all.
Trying to fix my sons 8520 which had a damaged screen. Anyway, have a new screen which I fitted easily enough, powered up the BB but all I have is a white screen. At first I thought maybe...
