On BIS, do deletion of an e-mail only syncs from BB to Gmail and not the other way?

So I tried bunch of settings, including the one that decide who "wins" when e-mail is deleted.
Thing is, when I delete the e-mail on BB, it nicely goes away from my Gmail. But if I delete an e-mail...

I tried to sign up for username on the BIS portal for Sprint (got it from the BBfaq site) but with no luck.
I tried to re-send the password...
