Can you connect to the Blackberry Desktop Manager? If it can you can probably reinstall the OS. You can get the Desktop Manager & your OS from your service provider. There is something on this site...

No it is not work issued. My other 8100's do not do this. Iwent to the security applications and I cannot disable the feature it has a red mark beside the button.
