I have upgraded my OS to 4.5 and I am still having problems viewing videos on m.youtube. I get on the site click the video, it then takes me to my media player and says loading.... Then an error...

I have a 8310, 4.2 OS on O2 how can I up grade to 4.5? I have already unlocked my vendor themes, if I upgrate will I have to do this again? and finally are there real advantages to upgrading?
