Already tried that!

Also set all of the BlackBerry Windows server tasks to manual startup, bounced the server, started Domino without the BES in ServerTasks, and still Sametime refuses to start.

No sametime.log, I don't think it even gets that far. I should mention that in trying to resolve the problem I rebuilt the whole thing! Before this, I did also look at the the existing sametime.log...
