I tried to take my 8100 into at&t for a system update. I forget exactly what they call it but it wiped everything from my BB (took the SD card out prior to the re-set).

The same thing happened with my Memos a while back. It resolved just as mysteriously as it occurred. I created a new Memo on the BB. After that, the Find function was restored to normal.
