I'll try and give the feedback!!(y)

To install this update:
1. Download and install the latest version of Desktop Manager
2. Donwload this OS and install it to the PC.
3. Delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader (this step is necessary any time an OS is installed from a different carrier than what is branded on the BB.)
4. Plug in BB and open Desktop Manager. You should be prompted to upgrade.

Apps version 4.2.1.91...Install I shall!

Jaime 05-12-2007 08:31 PM

Downloading!!

buggle_96 05-12-2007 08:37 PM

Oh my!

Perfect Storm 05-12-2007 09:25 PM

As I thought, there's nothing noticeable that's changed. Opera still freezes, no new themes either.
Looks like we're in to incremental changes for 4.2.1 from here on out.

Jaime 05-12-2007 09:49 PM

Is it faster than optus?

Perfect Storm 05-12-2007 09:54 PM

I never had any speed issues with 4.2.1.85 or 4.2.1.66

I feel 4.2 os a bit slower than 4.1. Maybe it's just me.

Is a deal breaker for me, no chinese input support, but thanks for the link, downloading it now for my OS collection.(y)

Can somebody verify if the ring tone is louder the pervious version, how many themes, any error, copy and paste in web page, wav file in email attachment, also on home screen when you hold down ALT and type NMLL, do you have the minus sign next to the signal number, thanks alot.
