I saw unlocked 9900 at amazon.com, can those be used in China? Thanks.

Re: unlocked 9900?
Yes, it should work fine. According to THIS China Mobile uses the 900MHz frequency for standard service and 2100MHz for 3G. The 9930 supports both these frequencies.

Re: unlocked 9900?
Does it work for Sprint if it is unlocked?
|
Re: unlocked 9900?
No. Sprint is a CDMA carrier. The 9900 doesn't work on CDMA.

Gosh Darn it!!!!! lol
thanks |
Re: unlocked 9900?
Tomorrow (Sunday) Sprint gets the 9930 Bold Touch. Same as the 9900 but CDMA vs. GSM. And the 9930 is a "world phone", containing a SIM slot for roaming onto GSM networks overseas (and probably GSM networks in the U.S. if you activate the service here).

And they don't open until 11:00 AM. :? Kinda late to be starting, even on a Sunday. My countdown is just over 13 hours. |
