Endomondo (exercise tracker)

Just started using Endomondo on my BlackBerry a couple of weeks ago and so far I really like it for tracking my workouts.

Nice that it can either do GPS and automatically follow me outside if I run there (and map my route and tell me how far I went), or I can use the manual input if I use the treadmill.

The only thing I don't like is that I cannot enter a workout for swimming unless I actually go a certain distance. For example, if I'm just swimming around with friends, but not doing laps, it won't calculate how many calories I've burned.

Other than that it's a great. Anyone else using it?

Thanks for posting this!

I have not used it. I have been using RunKeeper for Android and I like that app a lot as I can update right from my device or their website and link it with my Facebook as well. I will definitely give this app a try.

This sounds pretty cool, but its kinda tough from their website to figure out exactly what it will do. For instance, I'm a big golfer, will it track me playing golf, and can it figure out (or can I tell it) the difference between rounds where I'm using a cart vs. walking the course?

Can you steer me to some more comprehensive info about its capabilities?
