I am after a UK weather radar app for 8310 - can anyone advise please?

Have checked, but the only radar I can see is for US only. I am after a UK radar weather app for live weather predictions for when I am out.

Are you really looking only for an app? There are some acceptable mobile weather websites with animated radar. But if you are aware of those and want an app, then disregard.

Well, the site I was thinking of - weather underground - shows weather and forecast for UK (I tested using London) but not animated radar.

I did some searching and didn't find much. I did find Southampton Weather - Mobile Phone/PDA which has animated radar covering UK and part of western Europe. It doesn't appear you can zoom in.

Quick bit of research myself, found this one - raintoday dot co dot uk (not made 15 posts yet so cant put link!!

Ok, I have sent a link to my mobile, got the page up, but there is a big blank area where the animated weather map should be? any ideas if this is possible to be shown?

It is available for the blackberry as an app, but at a cost - which I'm not really that obsessed by!

Southampton Weather - Mobile Phone/PDA works on 9700/5.0.0.714.

At any rate, if you are having trouble, check your browser settings. Enable 'support javascript' and enable images and background images, etc. I believe I have everything enabled except popups. If you are on an older OS that may be your problem. If you are on OS 6 then you shouldn't have any problem, just check your browser settings.

I was refering to the one that I found (raintoday). I have checked all my browser settings and all are enabled but no joy. I am on OS 4.5.0.180 Platform 2.7.0.105

Is there a newer version for the 8310?

I'm apparently seeing same thing as you on the raintoday site. I saw that when I was searching. The big graphic that shows in a full html browser doesn't show on the BlackBerry browser with OS 5. So even if you can upgrade to 5 it isn't going to help you with that site.

Yes - would be useful if anyone else finds a webpage or app which can be viewed on the Blackberry.

I had to change images to medium quality or better to get animated radar to work on my storm
