Problem with Bold 9700

Hi, I have bb bold 9700 and I’m not able to connect the device with my PC. I have an HP thin client with VMWare, when I try to connect appear this message: Unable to forward "Research in motion Blackberry Smartphone" device. Could not plug-in virtual device.

Can anyone help me?

Welcome to the Forums.

The thin client does not have the necessary local software to control the discovery of a USB connected device. Most companies who use thin clients do this to control users and prevent unauthorized adds. It may be smart to call the IT support and see if they allow the device or if you have a configuration issue with your settings. The blackberry BES servers and associated software is fully compliant with thin client service it just needs to be allowed.
