Won't sync contacts; DM won't install address book

Recently the contacts on my 8530 Curve are deleting at randon when I SYNC with the DESKTOP MANAGER. I checked sync options and it says "address book not installed" and won't give me the option to install it.

Did you add any Apps?. One may have corrupted the OS and if so you may need to reload it.

Try pulling the battery wait for a couple of minutes and re-insert. Hopefully this will fix it and you wont need to go any further.
