3rd Party Data Apps Not Working
 

I have a 7520 From nextel, the nextel wap browser and bb browser work fine, but none of my other data apps work. All of them time out. VNC and VERICHAT to be specific also bbweather says no ippp service book.

Could anyone help me out on this one

I have called bb support several times no help at all.

Contact Nextel's BB support and have them send you "IPPP for 5 Click (IPPP)" service book.

I wouldnt say anything else other than send me this service book.

Don't know if it is the same problem you are having or not, but this used to happen to me on occasion... BBWeather, BBToday, and Ramble would report timeouts, DNS errors, or other type of connection problems while the BlackBerry and Nextel browsers seemed to work just fine. Nextel support was of no help because they "don't support 3rd Party Apps."

I found out that if I took the battery and SIM card out of the phone for a few seconds and them put them back in it would re-register with the network and all these third party apps would come back online. Whenever things start to behave a little funky on my 7520 I do this and it usually fixes the problem.

But I don't remember ever getting that specific IPPP error, so the service book thing that paulbblc said might be the way to go.
