BB 9700 Bold and Nokia CK-7W car kit

Hi all, i have a BB 9700 and have paired it up with my Nokia ck-7w bluetooth car kit, with no proplem,
The proplem i am having is, when i make or receive a call, the caller complain of my phone Echoing.i have had echo control on, auto and off but still echoes
Is it time for a new car kit ? and what is the best one to buy for the BB 9700 BOLD.

THANK FOR YOUR HELP.

I have the same problem with the 9700, this also occurred with the Blackberry Pearl. The only solution I have found is to turn down the volume of your car radio so that you can just hear the person on the other end. Then it works with no echoes.

The BB9700 will not play media files through a Nokia CK-7W, but the older Blackberry Pearl did. There seems to be no fix for that one, though. Does anyone know a way to do it?

I'm having the same issue with my 9700 and Nokia CK-7W, my previous Blackberry Storm did not have this issue.

I cant remember the exact detail but I think that the Nokia car kits DONT have echo control, they rely on the phone having echo control as at the end of the day the call still gets transmitted through the phone.

However, there is a Echo control option in Options>bluetooth>select device>Device Properties>echo control.

Have a fiddle with that and see what happens.

I also have a problem with my Bold 9700 and the ck-7w. I cannot use it because callers say the echo makes it imopossible to hear properly. Surely in this day and age when software downloads fix almost anything, Nokia should not be allowed to sit back and pretend nothing is wrong? If they sell a Bluetooth device that is regarded as a premium product - at a significant price+installation, they are really shooting themselves in the foot if they don't offer some help or advice. I saw one forum where they said they could not say whether the BB was com[patible because they did not have one available to test!!! Just walk out into the street and you will find someone.
I would say to anyone buying any mobile kit "avoid Nokia like the plague". Has anyone tried to pair a ck-7w with an Ipod 4? Maybe Mr Jobs will blame BB for the fact that it also echoes!
