Hi,
Has anyone experienced this problem before with their BB Storm? I'm typing away to reply to an e-mail and after a few words when I pressed the spacebar, the screen goes blank, but I can see the light underneath the screen is still on. The screen goes blank and nothing happens. I pressed and hold the End/Power key, the device turns itself off.

I noticed that this started to happen with I had installed a app called "SitorSquat". But, then I had removed the app and the spacebar problem still happens occasionally.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

First what software are you on? You might want to look at redoing your BB OS and see if that helps. If you think it's hardware than have your phone exchanged.

What version of the SW are you aware of this problem on?
