Comments lost on forwarded messages
 

I'm hoping somebody else has come across this with their Bold.

When you forward a message as an attachment, and add comments, the comments added to the attached message our lost when the recipient gets the message. :cry:

This is not a case of problem with our BES, nor with other BlackBerrys'. Specifically we've reproduced it in all Bold's with an OS greater than 4.6.0.126. :?

Is anybody else experiencing this?

Can you elaborate... when you say "message" do you meant an SMS message, an MMS message or an email message?

Can you provide the exact steps to recreate the problem so that we can try to follow your steps and prove/disprove?

I am not sure I understand exactly what you are experiencing, but I have to say, I have not seen anything wonky with forwarding messages on my Bold (OS .282).

Sorry I should be more specific

If I recieve an email message (we happen to use GroupWise) and I forward the email to you as an attached message, (using my GW client) and I add comments to what I'm sending, you will recieve the forwarded message but my comments will be stripped off. This happens only if you have a Bold with the OS greater than 4.6.0.126
