Using aux input and bt headset
 

Hey guys,

I've been searching and haven't found anyone trying to do this so I'm going to ask. I've been using my 8310 with the AUX input in my car for music. At the same time, I'm using a BlueAnt Z9 headset. When a call comes in, the music pauses and I see the call. I can answer it with my headset MFB but I don't hear anything and the caller just gets dead slience. The screen shows that the call is using bt via the bt icon next to the phone handset icon.

Has anyone tried to do this? It seems like it should work but if I'm just expecting too much just tell me and I'll figure something else out.

I've never tried BT and the headset connector at the same time, and would not be too surprised if that "confuses" the BB about how to handle audio...

That's what I was afraid of.
