Surname changed
a users surname has changed, we have changed the mailbox in AD and this is reflected to the bes server. new mails are sent from outlook are fine they show the new name. Also mails emailed to the new email address are fine and they are also delivered to the blackberry. when the user sends an email from the blackberry its sent from the old name.
Can this be changed without having to remove and re-add to the bes and perform and enterprize activiation. |
How long ago did you make the change? Since its been a few hours since you posted this attempt a "reload user".

did you change the alias field in active directory?

Thanks for all your responses I had to remove and re-add in the add. changed the alias, run a handheld cleanup and performed a reload. Thanks for the input.
