I havn't seen anything about anyone else posting about this, So I hope this isn't a repost. I bought my 8100 off Ebay, and have had to endure the IT lock for some time now and would like to see if there's a way to get rid of it. Any ideas guys? Also it only allows for a certain amount to be uploaded from my computer at a time as far as music and pictures, Is there any way to get rid of this limitation?

do a search for removing the IT policy from a device. it has a complete walkthrough on it.

Awesome, Perfect! =D i never thought to search for something that long, the things i have searched turned up nothing =\. but that worked perfectly. Now for the upload problem i get a;

"An error occured transferring my blackberry/ <File address/location> to the blackberry device. 

and error occured while communicating with the blackberry device. (unknown)"



And



"The blackberry device closed the connection to the media manager."

And i get both of these anytime i try and upload any kind of file really, doesn't seem to be specific to music or pics, but it does seem to be somewhat specific to size as i can upload smaller files (so far up to 1,671kb)
