Blinking LED light for texts/emails

I saw a thread from awhile ago where someone asked how to change the blinking light from red to green, and someone answered with going into options and change the LED coverage indicator to on. But all that does is makes the light blink green all the time! So how can I just change the color of text notification from red to green? Thanks!

You can't change that for new messages. It is red for new messages and alerts.

If you want it another color, you must have the third party application BBAlerts.

There is a 3rd party application that I reviewed a while ago. It IS one that you have to buy. However, the features allow you to change your light color based on certain settings. I will see if I can dig up a link. This however, does not change your light based on SMS or email.
