Colorware on BB's

I'm excited to see what they will look like. I had a sidekick done by them and it came out perfect.

yes, I am TOTALLY doing this! The only drawback is that I have to be without my bb for who knows how long :cry:

If I did it, I would buy a cheap Pearl or 8700 or something off ebay to use while I waited.

I could not let my bb go for even a day.

Does anyone know if they will be doing just customizations on sent in bb's, or can you buy a new one from them, like they do with the iPhone?

Yeah, its gonna be rough. I may break down and buy a temp phone (and return it after 14 days) I can't wait!

btw, there is a thread on HOFO where people have posted pics of their colorwared iphones, the final product looks VERY nice!

Its not active on their site yet. I guess they just haven't flipped the switch.

Ok, the Pearl is up! You can buy one new (starting at $499) or send yours in (starting at $99).

Wow! What a tease! I can't believe I have to wait till friday for the curve. That is so annoying. :x

So much for having the Colorware for BB up today, sorry but having one phone out today and staged roll out over two weeks is crazy. Its not like they don't know what they are doing right.

I know! I think it is stupid too. Im just happy I don't have to wait two weeks, like I would have to if I had an 8800. Only 4 more days....

Right there with you; I can't even let my BB go for an hour or so.

I might send my curve out first since then my 8820. I just can't narrow down a color combo. Plus I really want to see and hears others on the forums results.
