"phantom" MDS and BBIM connections

Over the past couple of years, somehow during upgraded etc, I have ended up having "phantom" MDS and BBIM connections showing in Blackberry Manager.

I have tried every way I know how to delete them from the configuration. At this point I have 3 BBIM connections and 2 MDS connections.

Now BBIM and MDS are not working correctly.

I have uninstalled / re-installed, basically everything I can think of.

Is there a way to edit the database to remove these and start fresh?

I have even moved the database to another machine to try and get this fixed, but the connections are in the database and follow to the new machine.

If there was a way to move the users I would do that, but since you can't just move users, I would have to have everyone run Enterprise Activation again.

Any ideas?

Could you send a screenshot of that part of the Manager so we can see the "phantom" connections?

The added BBIM and MDS connections should only change when the BES is installed on another machine as it uses the machine name to differentiate between them.

Are the BBIM and MDS connection names the same?

What version of BES are you running and for what platform also?

If you can't delete them from the BlackBerry Manager Global tasks screen you'll need to delete them from the BESMgmt database.

You'll find each BBIM and MDS end in a different number in the BlackBery Manager. Find the MDSConfgi and IMConfig tables in the database and delete the row numbers corresponding to the MDS and BBIM numbers you want to delete
