Weird issue, have I been hacked? BB App World/Pandora

So sick and tired of the Slacker App, (always dropping in the middle of a song and using up one of my "skip song" tokens) I decided to download Pandora...

I log into BB App World and find Pandora, download it by using my person BB ID and password...(I had to reset my BB ID password, because I forgot it, presumably).

Then I run Pandora and see that there is already a comlete listing of stations already loaded...After some exploring around I find that by going to Options Menu in Pandora, the account associated with it is one "madchad86 at aol.com"

WTF is this? Why, or How would Pandora assume to make the first log in to some guy madchad86 at aol.com instead of asking me for my log-in info...

Perhaps the Tour 9630 I have is refurbished and at one time madchad86 was the owner? Has madchad86 used my BB ID before for purchases unbeknownst to me?

What are your guys thoughts...I've google searched this madchad86 fellow and it seems he is some sort of punk rocker in Clio, Ohio...

Thanks!

It is highly unlikly that this feller got ahold of your account. You would have seen the charges on your credit card or cell bill. (You do pay attention to those, right?) More than likely your device is a refurb, and Pandora found an old log in. Otherwise, it would have forced you to make an account log in. Email Pandora's author or support for help.

Re: Weird issue, have I been hacked? BB App World/Pandora

The bill is paid through a family plan that I don't usually look at (just throw greenbacks at the person who pays for a group of people).

As for the issue...I too was thinking it was the result of my phone being a refurb...I returned my first 9630 because the trackball stopped working, and since I had warranty the VW store gave me a "new" phone at the store, but I think it was likely a refurb.

I guess this "fellers" pandora account information was stored deep within the bowels of BB internal memory? If so, I'm wondering what other info is stored on supposedly "wiped clean" refurb phones.

Just wanted to hear someone elses opinion, thank you!
