Water Behind 9700 Screen
 

On a car ride home, I spilt a little bit of water on my keyboard and it went behind the screen. I left it over night in rice, no difference. Navigation is acting weird to.
Does this mean I have to get this repaired? If so, how much does it cost?

You could try letting it dry out a little more with the battery removed, but I wouldn't guarentee that it would help, at this point.

If you have insurance on your device, filing a claim would be less expensive than any repair or repalcement options.

If not, repair takes a long time, and (depending on the type of work that needs to be done) could be as expensive as just buying a new device.

The rice trick is usually needs more than a day. Try 4 to 5

Remove the battery.
