Unknown MTP error
 

I have a storm 9530. When I connect it to PC via USB.
It shows a white screen with somthing written:
Unknown MTP error

and then restarts. I am not able to connect it to my pc. Plz help me.

Its a Verizon Storm
I am able to connect to desktop manager via bluetooth.. but not via USB..
plz help

MTP = Media Transfer Protocol. Do you have a media card in your device? If so, try removing it and see if that helps.

Does a battery pull have any affect?

Can you connect to BBSAK (see the FAQ)?

I have tried by removing the media card but no success. Still I see the same message on the screen and then it restarts. I also tried removing the battery and same results..

What is BBSAK? i checked out faqs but it just told me the abbreviation of that..

Google is your friend: BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife

BBSAK is a BB DM replacement. Sometimes it will work when DM will not.

I tried BBSAK but no success. Also tried battery pull. Please help.

My phone OS is:
v5.0.0.328(Platform 4.2.0.128)

Will OS reinstall solve my problem ? How can I do that as I am not able to connect it to my pc.
Is there any risk in doing it. I am a newbie. !
