8300 vs 8700 keyboard

Am seeking a replacement for my 8700. I was going to buy one today but I can't get used to the keyboard feeling so much smaller/cramped than the 8700 keyboard.

For those of you who converted from 8700's...and had to get used to the keyboard..

1. How long did it take for you to get "used" to the 8300 kybd.
2. Do your hands cramp up at all after you had used it for a while?
3. Do you wish you had your 8700 back?
4. Has the keyboard been such an issue that you reverted to your 8700?

TIA for feedback!

1. I moved from the 8700 > 8800 > 8300. After the 8800, I dearly loved the 8300 keyboard. No, it is not the 8700 kb, but it is easy enough to type on.
2. Nope.
3. Nope, its still sitting right here next to me in my office. I am about to sell it. but I have waited several months to make sure I could do without it, lol
4. Nope.

The other features of the 83xx overcome any fault you might give the keyboard.

Similar route, only I was from 8700g->Wing->8525->8320. 8700's kb is somewhat larger and easier to type, but I don't do a lot of typing on BB and Curve's kb is much better than Window Mobile. The smaller size easily makes up the difference in kb. I will not go back to my 8700.

Meanwhile, my wife is using the 8700 and she thinks that's the best phone she ever used. Curve is too smoothy/curvy/slippery for her :)

Wirelessly posted (8310: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

One other nice feature on the Curve is the trackball and menu key. I know my right thumb appreciates not having to extend out and press/rotate the track wheel anymore!
