Cant reload OS 5 or 6 on BB 9300 any ideas please
 

Hi, am new to this forum and was looking for a bit of help please.

Brought a 9300 used, fine for six months, then ‘Code 507’ and ‘200 reset’ with white screen.

Connects to pc, so I guess I am correct in thinking this is not a nuked loop situation.

Tried all of the help info I have found, including wiping old OS with JL_CLDEMR and BBSAK.

Tried reloading OS by DM , App loader, command prompt / app loader, BBSAK/app loader.

I have OS 6 installed with vendor file deleted, (but I downloaded the correct carrier OS anyway)

I have also tried to install a copy of OS 5

Using all these different ways the OS installation always stops/crashes when it gets to the point of loading module ‘net_rim_bb_phone_resource.cod’

Is there anyway to overcome this? maybe delete a file before installation?



Also I have done a bit more digging and managed to get an extract from the end of an event log after attempting to reload OS 5

it would seem like this line is the cause?

Error starting net_rim_services_impl

The OS is downloaded direct from the rim website

Any body have any ideas as to what this file is or how I can overcome the error?
