Good Weather App?
Can anyone tell me of a good FREE weather app that doesnt drain batt life or lock up phone?

I have tried them all and keep coming back to AccuWeather. I love WeatherBug and have tried it a few times but no matter how I adjusted the settings it ate up my battery. I am also a heavy BB user. I am on it all day long.

As far as Apps I love the weatherbug on my storm. I use it all the time. Im a weather junkie. The best feature is the My location. using your phones GPS no matter where your at it zooms in on you & you can see radar, any watches or warnings & current weather. only downside it it doesnt have a radar loop. But the weather is live & it proves more accurate than my local news channels weather site. So i love it!

BBWeather is good too...i tested it some time ago..it's simple with text interface with some graphics mixed in.

I have used BBWeather and WeatherEye, and would recommend either.

I am looking for a new Weather App. I have WeatherBug, but it seems to lock up a lot! I don't know if it is an issue with my GPS, or the App itself.
Any recommendations? |
I have tried most of them and I must say I have settled with the Accuweather feed from the BB mobile site. It works well. It may not have all the bells and whistles but it provides what I need. The weather.
