Notification Manager Resetting static values

Hi

I'm writing a midlet and handling events using the Notification API.

When i get an event in the proceedWithDeferredEvent, i call a method to change the values of a static vector but these values are changed by a method NotificationsManager.fireProceed() which i guess is called internally.

I'm using JDE 4.2.1.

Is there any way i can prevent this from happening?
