Installing the google sync now

Google Sync

EDIT:

Just installed and it is syncing the Google Calendar.

Hopefully Google would have the Google Sync with the "contact list", which it would be excellent.

Thanks OP! great post!

EDIT 2:
Just completed the sync within 2 minutes.

So it works with Google Apps?

I tried going to mobile.google.com on my Pearl 8100 (4.2.1.101) and sync wasn't listed as one of the applications.

When i went on my coworkers 8210, it showed up.

Is it possibly an OS limitation?

I did not know it works with hosted domain too. I am going to try it. Thanks for the info as well.

Agreed. But for now, I'll take whatever I can get!

plchan 12-12-2007 04:07 PM

I noticed my Google Calendar reminders do not get set correctly in my BB Calendar thou. However, the Google Calender reminders are set to send email, would it be the issue of importing reminders to BB Calendar?

Dawg 12-12-2007 04:31 PM

I cant get the sync to come up on my 8703e weird

question... how often does it sync? or does it do it upon every entry? I noticed the setting says "automatically", but what does that really mean?

JOVE 12-12-2007 05:03 PM

found the answer....

How do I set up to sync with my Calendar automatically?

pnd4pnd 12-12-2007 05:05 PM

Generally, it looks like about every two hours. Here is the link to Google's answer to this question: How do I set up to sync with my Calendar automatically?

Stinsonddog 12-12-2007 05:14 PM

Anyone have it installed with BES too so that calendar shows both personal and corporate calendar items?

Prosoundguy 12-12-2007 05:15 PM
