Blackberry user tools CD installation problem
 

Hi,

I just got my new pearl 8100 from T-mobile today. When I inserted the blackberry user tools CD, which came with the phone, into my CD-rom, it promopted me to select language. I selected "English", which was the only choice, then never happened from there. The installation dialog just sit there idling. Does everyone happen to know what is the cause of this problem and what should I do to fix it?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

You may want to try using an updated version. The version on the CD is outdated and you may have problems with it.

If you are using windows then use one of the latest desktop softwares in the dropdown box.
If you are using Windows Vista I'm not sure it will work.
If you are using a Mac then try using PocketMac. It's the top one in the list.
