Continuous Running Applications

Dear Friends!

I want to know about the applications that keep running in background? I mean when I press the BB Button, I find that Home, Phone, BB Messenger and Messages are running. If I close message or BB messenger, it keeps running.

None of those tasks can be ended.
They are core services.
