9810 Error on Start-up
 

Hi Guys!

I was writting an email & the unit suddenly restart itself and hang.
I then try to removed the battery then put it back again, but when it started it shows the following warning below;

Uncaught exception:
java.lang.Error
OK

Uncaught exception:
Applicationregistry.wait
For(0xbfca09409ffe99e5)
timeout
OK

Uncaught exception:
java.lang.NullPointer
Exception
OK

Then it shows all of the folders like "AddressBook" "AltMusic" "AltPictures" and etc.... and it stays as it is.

If I click any of these, error will pop-up like below:

Error starting
net_rim_bb_addressbook_app:
Module 'net_rim_bb_sms'
not found.
OK

Please help me fix this problem.

You have a corrupted OS. If you have a backup, do a reload of the OS and restore the data. It looks like the address book is corrupted but it could be another basic app or even one you loaded that caused this.

Thanks man, Im now trying to update/reinstall latest OS.
Will revert for results...:-(

And, answering your question, someone monkeyed with your BB using software illegally obtained from BlackBerry.

Please google the error message for solutions.
