Vodafone UK & Tethered Blackberrys
 

Can anyone clear this up, Vodafone sell the latest range of Blackberrys, 7130v, 8700v and 8707v as all being capable of being tethered modems.

I emailed Vodafone data business support team for instructions on how to use them as tethered modems. They sent me back a PDF of instructions, when trying it with any of the above Blackberrys i get a 718 dialup error.

Just phoned Vodafone Data Helpdesk for some help with this and they now tell me that the network doesnt support them being used as tethered modems. When questioning why they sell them saying they do and sending me a pdf on how to get it all connected up they didnt really have much to say...

Anyone in the UK sucessfully using one of these blackberrys as a tethered modem? By the way we are a coporate customer with out own BES server.
