is it posable to change just one icon
 

is it possable to change just one icon to somthing else lets say i want the address book to now be a a small pic of a bb is that possable? or will i have to create a whole theme of icons for what i want?

I do not believe that any icons or "parts" of themes are customizable. You need the source for the theme and then have to do whatever editing.

I have a few individual apps that have a generic icon (older but work on the 8830) and would love to tweak the icons for those but don't know how (I suspect that there is some portion of the cod file that contains the icon and maybe one could hack the hex values)

Ok so will need to hex edit the cod file. Or find somthing on the net that discribes how to do it. I'm not looking foward to hex editing the file. Been a cupple of years. What programs were u talking about. I post any finding I get on here

AFAIK, all the stock COD files are signed and cannot be hex edited.
