You can try eSpell from Dynoplex http://www.dynoplex.com/eSpell.shtml

METAmessage from onsetinc.com also has a spell checker. Both solutions work well, cost money, and take up lots of memory.

METAmessage has a device based and server based spell check solutions. Rumor is that they have spell check for French, German, Italian, and Spanish as well as UK and US English.

I got this offercode from a collegue for a 30 day trial, code=4546.

How about a FREE spell checker?!? I have set up BBSpellCheck (from the same guy that developed BBToday and BBLight) on our BES server and it works great. Here's the link to the thread on PDAStreet: http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/show...threadid=56341

Here's the link to his different apps:

I included the links above. Download the .zip file. Read through the thread on pdastreet.com, you can use the developers server by requesting it. I actually downloaded the zip file which explains how to set it up on your BES server. I followed those instructions and it works great. He just released the final of 1.0 yesterday. I haven't downloaded it yet.

The app is a client/server app, your handheld requests a spellcheck and the server reads your text and returns by underlining words that it doesn't recognize. You then can highlight the word, click the wheel and choose "suggestion". At that point it displays a list of suggestions or you can ignore. I'm telling you, this is wonderful, simple and FREE.

Hi,

Here's the link to the list of mirror sites hosting BBSpellCheck 1.0:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/b...lcheck-1.0.zip

Look at my links above. The PDAStreet.com link is to a thread of conversations where the developer explains the app and people ask questions, just like on this site. The 2nd link I listed takes you to all of the developers apps.

The zip file contains a "release.txt" file for those interested in setting up their own server.
