Landscape Mode
 

This is probably more of a rant.

It drives me absolutely crazy that certain native apps work in landscape, while others don't. By native I mean core BB apps, like Music, BBM, etc. Don't get me started on the home screen, either. I'm holding out hope that they'll eventually make all apps compatible with both modes.

BB10 is a great OS, and has a lot of potential. I just don't understand why they're holding out.

This is not just a BB10 thing. Android is the same way on every Android device I have owned. Some custom ROMs allow landscape mode on the homescreen, however. Also, I believe iOS suffers from this as well.

It does (sans iPads), but honestly, I've never wanted or needed a landscape homescreen.

I could use it for a few apps, but on the whole ....meh

I was spoiled with my 9860 which I used mostly in landscape mode

Now I am getting vertical with portrait mode on BB10

I use landscape quite a bit now with my Transform Shell case, especially when I'm at my desk. It's really annoying to reply to an email in landscape, then have to pick up the device to launch the media player (or learn to read sideways).

I've given up expecting things, learned to live with it as it is. Whatever improvements come will come, or not.
