problems with bb app world
 

I downloaded the new bb application software on my 9700 it asked for an I'd which I created everytime I try to download it asks for my I'd when I type it in it says to accept terms and condition which I do accept and then all my account information shows up but it never downloads the applications :( I also noticed a small lock icon on the right top screen. I've tried deleting and downloading the blackberry application again and again it still doesn't work. Please help

My bb application not login in wen I pt in my password it takes me 2 my account details and ther is a pic of a tiny lock at the right hand of the screen cannot download any applications it asks 4 my password n tkes me 2 my account details.

I had problem with bb app world because it is not available in my country but I manage to fix it.
Try to turn off mobile network and turn on Wi-Fi and then try app world.
Note:MOBILE NETWORK must be OFF

Pls post a note if this works to help others

I had the same problem last night with the new version 2.0.0.36. My solution was to "create" a new account with the same email, user name and password. My World now shows all my apps. BUT, I can't get the program to launch from the QuickLaunch menu.

I tried dat it says account aleady registerd wud dat email doesn re register.

I have the same problem!

I had a similar problem...App updates would show on App World but would tell me 'Not Available on App World" when I tried to install them.

I created a new Blackberry ID by changing the login name, but using the same email address and PayPal password. Now I can download updates and all appears to be well! I've been banging my head for weeks on this one... Big thanks to Gbeardmore for giving me the tip that pointed the way.
