Keypad tones, how to turn off?

Hi all, just bought my first BB, a 9105 Pearl. I cannot figure out how to turn off the keypad tones for number dialing, I have turned off the tones for texting, scrolling etc but each time I dial in a number it keeps beeping......:x help. It may be the same for other BB's so feel free to give me your opinion even if yours is not a 9105.

Thanks,
Robert.

You need to use the Silent or Vibrate Sound Profile in order to silence the dialing tones.

Hi, yes I tried that and it worked but I'm left with no ringtones.. tried editing it so that I can hear the ringtones in silent or vibrate only and the dial tones also start to work......

Hi, I have tried that a couple of times and yes it does stop the tones but not for number dialing I'm afraid, only stops tones for texting, setting up new contacts etc. Could this be a problem with my phone?

Nope. That's the only way to do it.
