User not added on BES server
 

Hi ,

I am not able to activate bb user on new BES server installed on OS 2008 with Exchange 2010. BES version is 5.0.3.

When I create a user in BES server, there is no message in the application log which says "User Added to BES server" which I know is very important.

The permissions are OK as I followed the RIM document for service account permissions.

Please help.

Thanks for your help but this does not resolve the issue as I do not have any problem in searching the user in the console. I can search the user and add to the console but I cannot get the confirmation message in the logs that it is added and the wireless activation fails.

You have to check the MAGT log and find why the user can't be added. Are you seeing the user after he is added in user management? Can you set the activation password?
