Retrieve deleted email
 

Is it possible to retireve emails that have been deleted on my Q10? I accidentally deleted an email and need to get it back.

It was also deleted from my email inbox.

You can set the folders that are sync'd, or you may be able. Set the BlackBerry to sync the trash folder, if available, then look there. Or else log into email from a browser and check trash folder that way. Maybe message is there. Try that if you haven't already.

i have not found a way (on the q10 itself) to recover an e-mail message deleted from q10. when i get to the office and check my work e-mail account, i usually can recover a deleted copy of the e-mail mesage by searching Recover Deleted Items in my work (outlook 2010) e-mail client

Ok. I jumped to the assumption you were using a Web mail service. I know some some of my email accounts send email to trash, and some others seem to leave the read email in the inbox when deleted on my Z10. If in your case the email was deleted from the server, then it's gone. Depends. See what others say.

Thanks. The email was deleted from server when I deleted on my Q10. So I guess its gone.

It is probably not absolutely positively gone, but just not accessible by you. If it is really important, and it sounds like you may be able to talk to admin, give that a try. See what an admin can or can't do.

in exchange, you can log into OWA and recover email that have been purged from deleted folder for 7 days by default. Your admin may increase this or decrease this number
