Paypal stopped working
 
On 2 Playbooks, I cannot buy anything. I receive the following error:

Problem encountered with PayPal authorization. (Error: 11000)

If I go into Blackberry World Payment Options, I can get to the Edit Payment Options: PayPal screen. When I enter my PayPal credentials and click "Authenticate", I get kicked back to AppWorld. From that point on until device reboot, Payment Options button becomes unresponsive and any time I go to buy something, I get a browser opening a white screen.

I have this issue on two separate devices. Anyone else get this?

You will either; visit paypal and check your settings from a PC (Check to see if secondary source is selected as an option), not a mobile device and fix your secondary payment options, or visit App World from a PC and make a purchase and then authenticate when you are directed to PayPal.

I only have one source - a credit card. Any other Paypal transactions I make work just fine.

If I understand the latter half of your suggestion - this is a workaround because payments from Playbook are borked?

It seems from your post, that you have an issue with making paypal purchases on BlackBerry App World? Right? It has nothing to do with the PlayBooks and everything to do with App World. RIM has been aware of the error 11000 when trying to use Paypal on App World to make a purchase when your account is tied to a credit card.

Adding a financial institution as a secondary option has been successful for many users. Authenticating from a PC when trying to make a purchase in App World has also been successful for others.
