I've been using Jive talk for some time now and like it! I saw a thread on here somewhere of someone selling user licenses for cheaper than buying it from Jive talk. Anyone know where I can find that thread or have a link to it?

Dawg 07-02-2008 07:38 PM

trust me it was a scam. The person selling the keys was a scammer. I know first hand I got scammed badly

What are its benefits over the stock IM clients?

To name a few...

Very clean interface
Multi-protocol capable
No limits on buddy list
Uses data instead of SMS
Easy on battery life
Customizable alerts
Logging capabilities
Customizable auto-away messages

I've been using jivetalk a bit over 3 months and I LOVE IT !

IpodLover77 07-03-2008 09:47 AM

i deleted mine even though it was the subscription version. It took alot of memory and i realized its not important to have when i only have 30 people on my buddy list lol.

Dawg was not referring to JiveTalk as a scam. He was referring to a user that was selling JiveTalk licenses for less than what JiveTalk charges. That was a scam.

JiveTalk is an amazing program. Try it out for the free 30 day trial period. I guarantee you will see why this application is held in such high regard.

It is an excellent application and I use it all the time. Mine stays on so I don't miss anyone that wants to catch up with me. I have about 45 buddies on mine and I have mine set up for a group chat also..... GREAT application for anyone that wants to IM and not waste there minutes.....

JiveTalk is very wonderful. I am cheap by nature so I tried the 30-day trial first in case I didn't like it but I fell in love with the program. I ended up buying the $30 license and it was completely worth it.

I love JiveTalk. Its the first IM program that I've seen that can stay connected for days, besides the SideKick that is. Well worth the $30!
