application memory keeps decresing
 
hey all,

i am facing a wired problem with my 9100. application memory keeps decreasing everyday. using os 6.708

i need to delete any apps, and do a battery pull and it comes back to 30 MB and within 2 days its become 4 MB.

anyone have idea on this???

It is called a memory leak and is caused by poorly coded applications. One (or more) of the applications is causing this. What third party applications do you have installed?

Not uncommon at all. There have been hundreds of threads like this.

Are there any apps running in the background?

i am not a app user in BB, having batterywatch, whatsapp, facebook and twitter.

Your not an app user?

Delete one of those at a time, starting with batterywatch, and test for 24 or 48 hours. Then delete another and test.

The only app you list that I have personal experience with is the BlackBerry twitter app (assuming that is the twitter app you mean).

all of the above are all apps.

I don't know about the others, but facebook has been known to cause memory issues if you stay logged in and never close it properly.

Do as aiharkness suggested and you should find the culprit.
